1- How was the local ABV Coordinator and the support provided in-country?
Amazing! Prompt responses and constant contact.
2- What was the most surprising thing you experienced?
The city is very developed, but there is still a lot of poor families.
3- What was most difficult to experience?
Being completely enveloped in the culture without knowing anyone. Make friends here and it will be easier.
4- Any tips for future volunteers… (clothing, travel, personal items, donations)
Don´t sweat too much what you bring. You can always buy things here pretty cheap. Leave room in your suitcase for souvenirs. They have a Walmart.
5.1-Other things volunteers should know:
a. Make friends with locals
b. If you have opportunities, take them.
6- Personal Paragraph (ABV Program Testimonial):
ABV was an amazing help both in the US and in-country. They even helped us sight-see. I 100% recommend ABV and I will use them again if I do abroad volunteer work.

Playing with my family´s kids.
9- How was the ABV USA support prior traveling?
Very easy and helpful.
10- Are you willing to speak to other potential ABV volunteers?
Of course!
