came here as a leader of a university immersion profgram and have been delighted and impressed with this program and the impact it has on me and my students. It has been wonderful to interact and get to know the kids and staff here and to experience the beauty of Belize.
1) How would you describe/rate the support provided by our in-country Coordinator & staff?
Communication was very clear and direct. The coordinator facilitate our time here very well. The staff was very welcoming.
2) What is your favorite memory of your trip?
I have loved getting to help the kids with their homework and see how smart and hardworking they are. Teaching them has been most rewarding experience.

Honestly the bugs. I have been in tropical places before and these were more extreme ;)
4) Any tips for future volunteers… (clothing, sightseeing spots, tours, packing etc)
Pack long sleeves and socks to cover up and good bug spray. The local coordinator has great local connections for tours.
